Medical Director – Marshall Cancer Center
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee hematology and oncology clinical operations, support quality improvement, and act as the primary liaison between the Marshall Cancer Center and UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center specialists.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possess a valid California Medical License
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
- Employee must be Board Certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
- Employee must possess an MD or DO Degree.
- Employee shall have completed a medical internship at an accredited institution, completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at an accredited institution, and completed a medical fellowship in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
Experience performing functions of a hematologist and/or medical oncologist
- Skills required include the ability to manage the care of medical patients with complex conditions and broad range of illnesses and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge required includes a good understanding of the common diseases that clinical physicians deal with on a daily basis. The incumbent must be experienced with and have a good understand of the health care systems in which they work and how to manage their patients’ care needs
- Abilities/competencies required include being able to function in a professional manner with regards to patients, families, colleagues; comply with all medical staff policies and procedures; and to be an effective communicator with a broad range of people

The Marshall Cancer Center, a UC Davis Health Affiliate, offers medical oncology therapies with board certified physicians and chemotherapy-certified nurses.
