The Clinical Applications Trainer 4 is a member of IT Education and will lead implementations, operational support, and program management strategies, methods, and tools for Epic and IT projects, enhancements, and system changes. This role will lead training projects through analysis, design, development, implementation, and success measurements.
The Clinical Applications Trainer 4 performs as an advisor, team mentor, and high-level decision maker while creating implementation and/or operational training programs. They are responsible for the creation and testing of application functionality; developing training materials, course curriculum, and reference materials needed to ensure learner success.
The ability to lead by example, provide customer service and expertise to executive level positions, and produce high-quality documentation is crucial for the success of this role.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- High School degree or equivalent work experience and/or training
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning theories and training methodologies.
- Experienced in project management principles including task management, development of timelines, and the ability to manage concurrent deliverables.
- Experience with technical analysis, documentation and writing, and the ability to follow team conventions.
- Thorough knowledge of software and technologies training, including complex concepts, principles, policies, methodologies, and industry standards and practices involved with training curriculum design.
- Detail oriented, with proven ability to effectively manage time, see projects through to completion, organize competing priorities, and effectively address complex, urgent issues as they arise
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate productively, work in a team environment, and to train and support clinical informatics users at all professional and technical levels throughout the medical center.
- Strong problem-resolution skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with senior staff and managers in clinical information technology, health care management, and business analytics, serving as a technical resource and providing advice and counsel on issues of functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance
- Current certification or accreditation in EpicCare Inpatient or EpicCare Ambulatory.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
