What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Services Supervisor position at UC Davis Center for Precision Medicine and Data Sciences?
Minimum of 6 years working within Accounts Payable
Experience in the use of financial and ERP systems, e.g. Lawson
Knowledge of GAAP theories and practices, relating to Accounts Payable
Strong MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio. Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Excel, including (but not limited to) Pivots, Sumifs, Ifs, and Vlookups.
Effective time and staff management skills
Effective customer service, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Effective problem solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Highly detailed and accurate with the ability to investigate transactions through multiple financial systems.
Proven ability to develop executive summaries, including ability to present findings in a professions and clear manner to senior leadership.
Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and produce quality work while meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of PC office tools - Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Access, or similar software - to problem solving and report production.
Prioritize and organize work, clearly communicating status to stakeholders and achieving deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and use independent and mature judgment.
