Registered Nurse with a clear and active California license.
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum of five (5) years of recent RN experience.
Progressive experience in professional staff development.
Demonstrated experience in nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Recent experience in design, deliver, and evaluation of educational programs for healthcare workforce.
Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practice standards and relevant regulatory requirements
Ability to plan and implement adult learning activities using a variety of modalities
Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Leadership: demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levelsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly identify problems and implement effective solutions
Demonstrated strong skills in project management
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to implement education programs
Demonstrate proficiency in educational technology use
Adapts to change in a positive, professional and productive manner
Knowledge of legal implications in clinical practice and professional development
Knowledge of performance improvement and evidence-based practice
Knowledge of and ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the educational process, including adult theories of education in clinical, lecture, and technology assisted forums
