JOB SUMMARY

Our psychology group practice in Corona, CA is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist, Marriage Family Therapist, or Social Worker who specializes in providing therapy to individual adults and couples, to join our team! We are seeking clinicians who understand the importance of integrating culture into their practice with clients and feel competent in discussing specific cultural challenges (i.e. racial trauma, acculturation issues, social justice issues, intergenerational trauma, etc.). In addition, we are seeking clinicians with a passion for working with historically marginalized communities and communities of color.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal candidate is someone who is exceptionally skilled and experienced in individual adult therapy, couples therapy, and/or family therapy. The clinician should be independent and self-motivated, and must be someone who goes above and beyond in their clinical care to quickly establish a strong and lasting rapport with clients.

In addition, applicants must meet the following requirements:

· Must be licensed to practice in the state of California.

· Must own a laptop computer with version 2010 or newer Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Must be proficient in the following computer programs and technology: Microsoft Word (e.g., creating tables, tracking changes, saving a word document as pdf, neatly formatting text); Excel (basic operation); Electronic Heath Records (EHR) for appointment tracking and reminders; Microsoft Outlook; Wireless printing and scanning (e.g., downloading and installing a printer driver, configuring a new printer in your computer settings, scanning a document to save on your computer)

· Must be a quick learner and comfortable utilizing online scheduling/client management programs - No Billing required

· Must have excellent writing skills

· Must have excellent customer service and phone communication skills

· Must have excellent references (please provide contact information for two professional references with the application)

SALARY & BENEFITS

This is a commission position. The commission is calculated for each billable hour of direct client service. The rate upon which commission is calculated is set based on the therapist's experience, performance, and client demand.

· Salary range: $87,400 to $134,000 per year - Full- time

· 2 hours/week of compensated administrative time for collaboration, clinical documentation, and reviewing members charts

· Streamlined Treatment Plans and Progress Notes within a user-friendly electronic health record software system (notes take ≈ 4 to 6 min)

· Consistent stream of clients as we are paneled with 10 different insurance companies/EAP Programs and have private pay clients as well; allowing for clinicians to build up their caseload immediately.

· Clinicians are NOT responsible for billing or finding their own clients. We do all the hard work for you!

SCHEDULE

The clinician is expected to schedule 26- 27 direct therapy hours per week, once they have established a steady caseload. The clinician should be available for scheduling based on the preferred appointment times for the adult population. This usually requires a variety of offerings including morning, mid-day, and evening hours. (The clinician only needs to be present at the office when there are appointments scheduled.)

DIRECT CLINICAL HOURS

Therapists are expected to conduct approximately 4 - 6 hours of direct clinical services per day, though some choose to schedule more. In our experience, the time it takes for a provider to build and maintain a caseload varies based on a number of factors. Credentialing with insurance companies typical takes 90-120 days.
