• Manage Broker of Record (BOR) transfers and carrier appointment logistics.
• Own the onboarding process for new Group Benefits clients following the close of sale, including carrier setup, plan implementation, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Group Benefits clients post-sale, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to service and a high-quality ongoing client experience.
• Coordinate open enrollment deliverables: benefits booklets, employee meetings, and online enrollment portal setup; ensure timely ID card issuance.
• Provide ongoing servicing (eligibility changes, billing, member support) and claims advocacy as needed.
• Support ACA/ERISA compliance in partnership with HR-compliance resources and carriers.
Responsibilities – Property & Casualty:
• Act as day-to-day contact across commercial lines (General Liability, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, EPLI, Cyber, etc.).
• Work within AMS360 to produce accurate Certificates of Insurance and evidences; manage additional insured and holder requirements per contracts.
• Drive renewals and remarketing: collect underwriting data and loss runs, prepare exposure summaries, negotiate with carriers, and recommend coverage improvements.
• Handle policy servicing: endorsements, audits, cancellations/reinstatements, premium finance coordination, and billing resolution.
• Lead claims advocacy: intake and coordination with adjusters, monitor reserves and recovery, and keep clients informed.
• Perform risk reviews (valuations, schedules of locations/vehicles/drivers) and liaise with loss-control vendors.
• Conduct thorough policy checking (forms, limits, deductibles, endorsements) and maintain organized records in the agency/CRM system.
• Monitor regulatory and contractual obligations (state filings, WC experience mods, audits) and communicate impacts to clients. • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities between Benefits and P&C to improve retention and growth.
Qualifications:
• Active NJ Health and NJ Property & Casualty Producer licenses (or ability to obtain promptly); additional state licenses are a plus.
• 3–5 years of account management in employee benefits and/or commercial P&C with direct client service and carrier negotiation experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; responsive and consultative client approach.
• Proficiency with CRM/agency management systems and Excel; comfortable presenting to client leadership teams.
• Collaborative team player who partners effectively with producers, underwriters, carriers, and compliance resources.
