We are seeking an experienced and motivated Remote Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team. This is a part-time, fully remote position starting at 16 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary of $155,000–$165,000.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable management experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Review, verify, and approve invoices and employee expense reports.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms when appropriate.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting to ensure payment obligations are met on time.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses related to accounts payable.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be currently employed at the time of application.
