One Job. Two Work Environments.
Looking for an entry-level opportunity where you can learn a new skill, work with customers, and have variety in your day?
As a Device Repair Technician, you'll flex between working in one of our retail stores and taking repairs directly to customers in a company-provided mobile repair van.
Some days you'll work your entire shift in the store. Other days you may spend your entire shift on the road traveling between customer appointments.
You need to be comfortable doing both.
What You'll Do
In the Store
On in-store days, you'll:
- Diagnose and repair smartphones and other devices
- Replace screens, batteries, and other common components
- Help customers understand their repair options
- Recommend products and services that fit customers' needs
- Work alongside your store team
- Help maintain tools, parts, and inventory
On Mobile Days
On mobile days, you'll:
- Drive a company-provided repair van to scheduled customer appointments
- Spend a significant portion of your shift driving throughout the service area
- Repair customers' smartphones from the mobile repair van
- Work independently while managing your route and appointments
- Deliver a great customer experience at each stop
- Maintain your van, tools, parts, and inventory
Important: Mobile shifts can involve driving for much of the workday. If you're looking for a position where you'll remain in one location every day, this may not be the right fit.
No Repair Experience? No Problem.
This is an entry-level technician position, and we provide paid training to teach you how to diagnose and repair common smartphone issues.
You do not need previous phone repair, electronics, engineering, or advanced technical experience to be successful in this role.
We're more interested in finding someone who:
- Provides great customer service
- Is dependable and responsible
- Enjoys working with their hands
- Is comfortable learning new technology
- Can work independently
- Enjoys variety in their workday
- Is comfortable driving for extended periods
- Is comfortable recommending products and services to customers
We'll teach you the repair skills. You bring the customer service, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Compensation & Growth
- Starting at $15/hour after training
- Opportunity to earn up to $25 /hour with uncapped performance incentives
- Performance-based earning opportunities
- Paid training
- Opportunities to develop repair, customer service, sales, and technical skills
Your total earning potential will depend on individual performance and business results.
What Makes This Role Different
This isn't a typical retail job where you stay behind a counter all day.
It also isn't an advanced engineering or electronics position.
It's a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll learn smartphone repair while having the flexibility to work both in-store and out in the community.
If you like technology, helping people, working independently, and having a workday that isn't always the same, this could be a great fit.
Requirements

- Ability to flex between in-store and mobile assignments
