Job Responsibilities

The company follows a specific "Serve, Solve, Sell" philosophy. Your day-to-day generally includes:
​Customer Intake & Triage: Greeting customers, performing basic diagnostics on smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and providing clear, non-technical explanations of what’s wrong.

​Sales & Upselling: Recommending repair options and "attaching" value-added services. A major focus is selling the Asurion Tech Care protection plan, along with accessories like screen protectors and cases.

​Technical Assistance: While primarily a sales role, you will often perform basic repairs (like screen or battery replacements) or assist the "Back of House" technicians with the repair queue.

​Store Operations: Managing the Point of Sale (POS) system, answering phone inquiries to convert them into store visits, and maintaining a clean, organized storefront.

​Candidate Requirements
​You don't necessarily need to be a master engineer, but you do need to be "tech-adjacent."
​Experience: Usually 1 years in retail sales or customer service (experience in wireless carrier stores like Verizon or AT&T is highly preferred).
​Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. You should be comfortable "fidgeting" with gadgets.
​Education: High school diploma or GED is the standard requirement.
​Soft Skills: Strong empathy (customers are often stressed about their broken devices) and a competitive drive to hit sales targets and commissions.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
