As a Mobile Phone Repair Tech, here’s what you can expect to do:

-Meet with customers at a predetermined address
-Perform phone repair out of a specially equipped mobile work van
-Utilize service and communication apps to view daily orders and communicate with your team support members
-Upsell Connected Home protection options(minimum sales targets are a requirement for continuous employment)
-Travel daily to and from the job location and several customer locations throughout a designated region, possibly in heavy traffic and inclement weather

-Manage logistics of daily repairs
-Manage serialized part stock and inventory
-Utilize programs and applications to complete repairs

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team(preferred):

-Prior phone repair experience
-Prior experience in sales or customer service (highly preferred)
-A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (mandatory)
-This role is for a 5 day work week with varying hours. Hours are dependent on daily repair claims made by customers. Routes, drive times, and repair volume are subject to change throughout the week. However, we will strive to work within a 40 hour workweek schedule.

-Comfort working around dogs, cats, and other pets that may be present in customer homes
-Ability to pass urine drug screening and background checks
-Must be physically able to drive for prolonged periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Schedule:

8 hour shift(overtime if available)
40 hours/week minimum requirement(overtime if available)
Self-determined schedule
Weekend availability(when available)

Supplemental pay types:
Commission pay (Connected Home Products, Accessories, and more)

Experience:

Consumer Electronics/Smartphone repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Retail sales: 3-5 years (Highly Preferred)
Customer Service: 3-5 years (Highly Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required)
Work Location: On the road

*Pay rate is $14/hr during the training period. When training is complete and tech is ready to go on the road independently, pay rate is increased based on performance($18/hr).
