Role Description

The Patient Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role located in Williamsville. The primary responsibilities of this position include scheduling patient appointments, providing excellent patient support via phone and in-person interactions, verifying insurance details, and using medical terminology to facilitate effective communication. The role also involves maintaining an organized and welcoming medical office environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and phone etiquette for effective communication with patients
• Experience in insurance verification processes
• Understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with a medical office environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients and healthcare providers
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in patient records and schedules
• Knowledge of basic computer systems and healthcare software is a plus
• Minimum 2-3 years’ customer service experience, preferably in a call center and/or health care setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
