Our location in Olive Branch, Mississippi is currently seeking a full-time Parcel Packer. The scheduled working hours will be Monday-Friday 7am-4pm; however, there will be times that require this candidate to come in early or stay late, based on business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a Parcel Packer, you will be responsible for boxing and packaging customer orders that do not meet the LTL criteria. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick items to match customer orders
- Building boxes or other packaging materials to ship customer orders that will prevent damage during shipping
- Use basic computer skills to navigate systems and process orders accurately
- Able to read and interpret a pick ticket from the computer system, not paper
- Place shipping labels on completed customer orders
- Must have 2 years of warehouse experience
- Must have a high level of accuracy
- Able to read and interpret customer orders and safety procedures
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Manual dexterity required for handling small items
