What The Candidate Will Do

What The Candidate Will Do
- Lead the team (1-2 PMs) that owns the E2E vision, strategy, and 12 to 24-month roadmap, always maintaining a clear vision for what they are building and why. Ensure your cross-functional team understands and aligns with this vision and is empowered to execute.
- Lead product development on trip experiences that help riders access faster rides or reliably find drivers, even in challenging market conditions.
- Serve as a point person and thought leader for the Trip Experience team with dozens of other partner teams throughout Uber who are actively developing into the Trip Experience platform to meet a range of user and business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data science teams to drive product vision and execute seamlessly
- Conduct user research with the UXR team and leverage insights to create user-centric solutions that stand out in competitive markets.
- Prioritize product enhancements and refine features for maximum impact, balancing both short-term wins and long-term growth.
- Communicate product strategies and results to senior leadership, advocating for the best rider experience possible.
- 7 years of experience as a Product Manager delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Must have experience directly managing PM's.
- Customer obsession and strong expertise in user experience. You have a knack for taking on complex product challenges and finding elegant solutions that are delightfully simple for our users.
- Thinking at scale & platform experience: you can take a laundry list of use cases and connect the dots to develop holistic, scalable solutions to for internal partners
- Leadership. Extensive experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and leadership (Sr. Director level and above).
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizations, aligning goals and driving execution.
- Familiar with systems thinking, analytics and experiment design, and have a strong understanding of software development processes and concepts.
- You can get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing and experimentation.
- A Driver" mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on.
Salary : $216,000 - $240,000
