What The Candidate Will Do

• Lead the ambitious product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the developer platform of the future, with a relentless focus on integrating groundbreaking AI/GenAI capabilities.
• Drive the high-velocity execution of the product roadmap, ensuring seamless alignment with critical business objectives and cutting-edge technical feasibility.
• Define and track influential Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and game-changing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure ultimate success.
• Engage deeply with engineering teams to understand their burning needs, dismantle persistent pain points, and deliver transformative solutions.
• Introduce world-class best practices in developer experience and platform engineering, with a special emphasis on next-generation GenAI innovation to IDE, code generation, testing, continuous integration, code migrations, library safety and all areas that impact developer experience and productivity.
• Champion the developer platform across the organization, driving passionate adoption and collecting clear and actionable feedback.
• Cultivate a thriving culture of disruptive innovation and relentless continuous improvement within the team.
• Stay perpetually at the vanguard of emerging technologies and rigorously evaluate their potential for revolutionizing our platform.Lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap with a focus on AI/GenAI.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• 8 years of dynamic experience as a Product Manager, with a substantial focus on spearheading developer platforms or tools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a tightly related technical field.
• Proven track record in meticulously defining and executing cutting-edge product roadmaps for highly technical products.
• Deep, nuanced understanding of complex software development lifecycles and hyper-efficient developer workflows.
• Practical experience with robust cloud technologies and scalable infrastructure.
• Innate product sense, with a demonstrated ability to pinpoint intricate user needs and translate them into powerful, seamless solutions.
• Tangible experience with Generative AI and its revolutionary applications in developer platforms including use of agentic AI.
• A driver" personality - biased toward action, great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in extracting profound insights from data and synthesizing compelling learnings.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
