In this role, you will work to ensure seamless and secure signup and login, account management, and account linking flows for users, and use technical and business skills to drive Identity strategy across Uber.
You will work with product managers, engineers and fellow scientists to shape the direction of a variety of areas within Identity. - Develop and monitor strategic metrics and understand all underlying drivers.
- Design and run experiments to analyze the impact of product changes.
- Deep dive into data to evaluate proposed product changes and identify opportunities for improving the user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and other business leaders to make decisions based on data insights and experiment results.
- Communicate your findings to cross functional peers and management.
- Bachelors or M.S. with a degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.
- Advanced SQL expertise.
- Experience using Python or R.
- 3yrs experience in improving products, understanding the user journey and extracting insights from data.
- Understanding of experimental design and using statistical methods in exploratory analysis.
- Experience with dashboarding / data visualization (i.e. Google Data Studio, Tableau, Mixpanel or similar).
- Ability to work in a self-guided manner.
- Superb communication and organization skills.
- Identity (signup / login / account management / account security) experience.
- Proficient at defining, utilizing and communicating performance metrics.
- Proven track record of applying analytical/statistical methods to solve real-world problems using big data.
- Data engineering / pipeline creation experience.
- 1yrs experience launching multiple experiments (such as A/B experiments).
- Linear regression, causal inference, credibility-weighted estimates.
Salary : $142,000 - $158,000
