About the Role
As a Strategic Pricing Analyst I, you will be responsible for providing contract (RFP) pricing and network analyses for Uber Freight's strategic shippers. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, working cross-functionally with sales, account management, product and data science teams to develop a cohesive pricing solution for our shippers. We're looking for a passionate analytical mindset who can draw insights from a wealth of market and historical data, and translate these insights into actionable plans, and own our pricing strategy for our shippers.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Provide data-driven pricing proposals to internal stakeholders based on account profitability goals, industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide analytical insights and partner with appropriate stakeholders to pursue growth opportunities and address areas of improvement.
- Develop executive-level presentations that gain alignment on pricing analysis and display strategic rationale behind potential financial impact.
- Deliver customized pricing strategies to shippers during negotiation processes.
- Perform ongoing assessment of financial impact of pricing forecast versus the actual results.
- Provide insights to the business through analysis of competitive pricing, packaging or bundling strategies and customer buying patterns.
- Develop, maintain and ensure accuracy of pricing data inventory used for analysis and contract execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business/economics/stats/mathematics/related field or equivalent experience
- Exceptional Excel (or Google Sheets) and Data Management Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Minimum 2 years of pricing, analytics, consulting, data science, business intelligence, Supply Chain or related experience
- Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL expertise
- Supply Chain or 3PL / 4PL experience
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly root cause issues

Illinois: The target salary for this position is between $81,000-90,000
