About The Role
Uber Freight is seeking experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics. In this role, our specialists will lead transportation operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective way, all while delivering excellent customer service to our customers.
This is a full-time position, working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a hybrid work schedule:

About The Role
Uber Freight is seeking experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics. In this role, our specialists will lead transportation operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective way, all while delivering excellent customer service to our customers.
This is a full-time position, working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a hybrid work schedule:
- Monday and Friday: Work from home
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: In-office days at our Uber Freight St. Louis COE
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an order
- Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers
- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation
- Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes
- Monitoring and resolving shipment data errors
- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures
- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy
- Professional and timely communications
- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials
- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of customer service experience in an office setting
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or a related field
- 1 years of experience in transportation or logistics
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
