Your mission is to protect our users from deceptive practices while ensuring a fair and transparent ecosystem for legitimate advertisers. You will be responsible for drafting, implementing, and scaling advertising policies as well as continuously optimizing processes.
What You'll Do
- Policy Development: Draft and refine global advertising policies, ensuring they are clear, enforceable, and aligned with evolving regional regulations (e.g., DSA, GDPR)
- Incident Management: Act as a lead for high-priority policy escalations, making rapid, data-driven decisions on sensitive or controversial ad content
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering to build automated enforcement tools and with Sales to educate advertisers on compliance
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and bad actor tactics. Conduct "red-teaming" exercises to identify gaps in existing policy frameworks
- Operational Excellence: Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of policy enforcement and the impact on advertiser friction, driving continuous improvement in "Time to Action" metrics
- 4 years of professional experience in Ad Tech, Trust & Safety, or Content Policy
- Previous experience managing DSP/SSP, real-time bidding, and ad creative review processes
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with sensitive categories and global teams, with cultural nuances
- Experience with GenAI
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital advertising lifecycle (DSP/SSP, real-time bidding, and ad creative review processes)
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to use data to identify patterns of policy abuse and justify policy changes to executive stakeholders
- Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex legal or technical concepts into simple, actionable guidelines
- Judgment: Proven track record of making difficult decisions in "grey areas" where policy and business interests may conflict
Salary : $118,000 - $145,500
