Minimum Qualifications - Registered Dietitian
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Arkansas
- Completion of a dietetic internship
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Interviewing candidates with all levels of experience - Nutrition, LD & RD
- Clinical experience
- Registered Dietitian and Licensed by the State of Arkansas preferred
- RD, LD
- 1-year clinical experience
- Master’s degree required or Specialty Certification required
- Precepts dietetic interns in the UAMS internship program
- 2 years’ experience
- 4 years’ experience
- Masters required
- Specialty Certification required
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the nutritional needs of the patient and making recommendations to meet those needs.
- Documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Education of family, students and other professional staff.
- Teaching, discussing with medical staff and other caregivers the patient needs.
- Clerical and office duties.
- Presentations outside the hospital as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
