Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong reading, writing, and computer proficiency skills
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care settings
- New graduates with prior LPN experience in ED or Critical Care will be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, information, and treatment recommendations for toxic or potentially toxic exposures via telephone and other communication channels
- Document, update, and maintain accurate electronic medical records for all inquiries
- Deliver education and guidance on toxic substances and medications to healthcare providers and the public
- Assist in the education and training of professional students and residents
- Perform other duties as assigned
