- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience as an Instrument Tech or recent certification as an Instrument Tech.
- Certified Instrument Tech.
Responsibilities:
- Performs decontamination, assembly, and packaging of medical equipment and tools.
- Provides assistance to operating room staff. Provides staff with necessary supplies and/or equipment.
- Loads up and transports medical instruments and equipment.
- Performs tests on and utilizes mechanical equipment in the completion of duties.
- Ensures proper storage of instrumentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
