Position Overview

What You Will Do
Manage emergency services activities, workflow and nursing resources.
- Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Assist with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of nursing staff.
- Identiy and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Monitor and adhere to budget(s). Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification and diploma from an accredited school/college of Nursing. 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
