Position Overview
- Bonus: Up to $20,000 may be available for full-time postions.
- Department: 7 North Cardiology
- Schedule: Shifts Available:
- Full-Time Nights, (3) Twelve Hour Shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, and (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling
- Full-Time Days, (3) Twelve Hour Shifts, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, and (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling
- Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East

- 15 Telemetry beds and 8 IMC beds
What You Will Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire.
