What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Advocate Technician position at UAB St. Vincent's?
We Are Hiring
- Department: Pharmacy
- Schedule: Days; Monday - Friday 7a - 7p and Saturday - Sunday 7a - 7p
- Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair
- Location: Pell City, AL
Must be registered through the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP).
What You Will Do
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
- Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency required.
