Position Description
Work Schedule: Full Time Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Work Location: UAB Hospital

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, to provide specialized support services to the Department of Pathology. To oversee digital pathology workflow and operations working with Divisional Directors and pathology faculty members, as well as to operate the department’s scheduling applications. To meet productivity levels established by the department in terms of service scheduling and cultivate extensive knowledge of various digital pathology imaging modalities and applications. May perform other administrative roles and oversee staff working within the context of whole slide imaging, laboratory information systems, and other related areas within the department.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Experience with image analysis and various image application software preferred.
