Job Description
To act as primary contact for allocating any resources related to patient care across all UAB Hospital campuses based on system needs. To collaborate with departmental leadership to implement decisions and to stay abreast of changing priorities. To oversee day-to-day clinical operations and decision making for UAB Hospital (all campuses). To provide operational oversight for the facilities-based House Supervisors and STAT RNs.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Nursing and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement. Previous experience in critical care, including emergency department nursing required. Candidates with a broad range of clinical experience across multiple care settings in the inpatient environment is preferred. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Certified with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.Why Work at UAB Medicine
