Job Description
Under minimal supervision, this individual is responsible to the Principle Investigator for the federal award Workforce Engagement for Compassionate Advocacy, Resilience, and Empowerment (WE CARE) in the UAB School of Nursing and works closely with the UAB Nursing Partnership and UAB Medicine Office of Wellness. In partnership with UAB Medicine, serves to accomplish the strategic goals of nursing service, working as an advanced nursing professional. To influence the culture of nursing excellence throughout the organization, engages in education, quality, evidence-based practice, scholarly activities, regulatory affairs and research. To positively influence and advance nursing practices, quality metrics, and patient outcomes. This individual must be willing to support the mission of the SON and adhere to all University policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing or relate field and five (5) years of related experience required. If Master s is in a related field, must have a bachelor s degree in Nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.Why Work at UAB Medicine
