Job Description
To provide for and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation; effectively interacts with patient, significant others and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Nursing and one (1) year of RN experience required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and one (1) year of recovery room experience preferred. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement. Current Alabama RN license required. Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Member of The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses Association (SGNA) and PALS certification preferred.Why Work at UAB Medicine
