Job Description
This position is responsible for supervising assigned department staff, and providing advice and assistance to management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures. This position will review and update in-service and procedure manual(s), as well as assist in preparation of department annual budgets and monitoring of actual department results to determine compliance with budget and forecast potential problems. This position will coordinate interviewing applicants, hiring/placement of employees, performance evaluations, counseling, discipline, and recommendation for termination. This position will monitor safety program(s) to meet regulatory compliance and provide consultation and guidance for satellite facilities.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or similar field required: minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting: or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
