Position Description
Temporary position through January 2027
The Learning Coordinator will support a temporary migration project to UKG Workforce Management (WFM) by designing and delivering comprehensive training solutions for end users. This role is responsible for developing a detailed end-user training plan and creating training guides aligned with UAB Medicine policies and procedures. The coordinator will collaborate on and produce a variety of learning materials, including eLearning modules, job aids, and handouts, to support effective system adoption. They will ensure that all systems, data, and training resources are prepared and accessible for training sessions and will lead both employee and time editor-level end-user training to promote proficiency and successful transition to the new platform. Additionally, this role may support other project-related activities as needed.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in creating and presenting educational content and delivery in the classroom and/or via webinars. Experience working with learning applications and developing educational content for adult learners. Successful in managing projects, assisting with orientation and onboarding new employees. Two years’ experience working with a Joint Commission accredited healthcare environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet applications. In lieu of college degree, High School or GED with at least three years combined years of proven success managing projects, assisting with orientation and onboarding new employees in a healthcare environment.
Preferred
Experience in organizational-wide delivery of educational services, including orientation and training of staff, preferably in a healthcare environment. Knowledgeable of healthcare regulatory requirements and laws. Administrator role in learning management software.
