Job Description

Responsible for maintaining and managing the integrity of the ERP system's item master. Performs various duties to effectively ensure that the item master data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date. Provides day-to-day ERP and analytical support.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops and implements data management plans and initiatives to increase the integrity and to standardize Item Master data.
• Utilizes Data Management Platform to analyze, identify, and correct erroneous data.
• Review/analyze incoming master data requests to understand desired outcome, assess appropriate course of action and execute tasks to complete requests.
• Develop and execute strategic projects aimed at optimizing supply chain performance through item master cleansing, optimization, and updating , including but not limited to: Recommendations for new item adds or inactivation per purchase history, item changes due to mergers and acquisitions of vendors or product lines, and enrichment of product information in ERP through use of additional item attributes or healthcare regulatory information (UNSPSC,UDI, etc).
• Maintain and update material master data in the ERP system, including product specifications, production information and packaging information.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all ERP modules and databases.
• Processes requests for item master adds or changes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data requirements.  
• Conduct regular data audits and clean-up activities.
• Monitors local adherence to data governance policies, procedures and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Generate and analyze reports to support business decision-making.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Math or a related field and five (5) years related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Supply chain experience preferred. Proven experience in ERP master data management is preferred.
