Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nutrition Service Manager, where you will lead and oversee the dietary operations within a preschool environment. This vital role combines management expertise with a passion for promoting health and wellness through nutrition care. You will coordinate dietary services, supervise staff, and ensure that all children receive exceptional nutritional support tailored to their individual needs. Your leadership will foster a positive, compliant, and efficient food service atmosphere that provides 3 meals a day to children ages 3- 5 years old.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring high standards of food safety, and quality.
- Supervise and mentor dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Implement special diet plans that incorporate child assessments, nutrition goals, and specialized diets such as allergies, religious needs, and health care plans.
- Oversee meal planning and preparation to meet nutritional guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of special diet plans, dietary records, and budget reports in compliance with regulatory standards
Skills
- Knowledge of children's nutrition protocols.
- Proven supervisory experience within dietary or healthcare settings, especially in managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in managing budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation for dietary departments
