This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for supporting efficient warehouse and distribution center operations through clerical tasks, inventory management, and shipment coordination at the North Manufacturing site in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, a typical day will include: Handle manual or operational tasks within warehouses and distribution centers to ensure smooth and efficient processes Optimize storage space and material flows while maintaining safety and efficiency Manage inventory and coordinate shipments Operate equipment, which may require certification Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
