This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards at our ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, a typical day will include: Handle manual or operational tasks as per guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient processes Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
