Job Description 3rd Shift - 10:30pm - 7:00am - Mon-Fri Location: Kraft Heinz – Cedar Rapids 4601 C Street SW Cedar Rapids, IA, 52404 Plant Overview: · 3-Shift Operation · Non- Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates. · 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines. · Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese Company History: Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids started as Ashby Soups and was originated in the mid 1980’s by Jamie and Shannon Ashby, along with their mother, using family held recipes for many kinds of soups. This is a place for you to create your career and make a difference! Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is looking for candidates that want to make great soups! Efficiently operate the Robot for loading prepackaged boxes to place on pallets and be distributed. Detailed knowledge of the Robot machine to support continuous production flow. Identify any quality concerns with the packaging, print, label or case. Follow all safety protocols. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Operate robotic arm systems to perform tasks such as material handling, sortation, palletization, and other distribution processes. Supervise and control the robotic arm's movements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Perform daily inspections on the robotic arm system to ensure its efficient functionality. Collaborate with the maintenance department for additional assistance and specialized maintenance needs. Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that the robotic arm system is meeting production standards. Maintain accurate records of robot programs, setup configurations, and maintenance activities. Document any issues, resolutions, or improvements made to the robotic arm system. Protect the quality of the product by ensuring that products do not sit in the palletizing area, in excess of guidelines, during downtime or slow manufacturing periods. Must have a sound mechanical proficiency, the ability to operate computer-controlled equipment and the ability to understand and explain a flow diagram to others. Eliminate unsafe conditions and/or report them to your supervisor immediately upon identification. Follow GMPs, Safety Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. Report to your supervisor any issues or situations which make compliance difficult or impossible. Qualifications: Able to adhere to a strict attendance policy Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and with others. Must be able to work in a safe manner. Must ensure quality products are being packaged. Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures. Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document Employees will follow all safety protocols and perform their job responsibilities in a safe manner.
