Assistant Manager’s General Job Description.
The U-Stor-It Self Storage Assistant Manager must be an energetic, professional, outgoing self-starter who has excellent sales skills, a team player who works well with others. Internal/External marketing and customer service skills that can deliver superior customer service. The candidate will contribute to control profitability by developing and maintaining business sales relationships and being committed to customer satisfaction. The manager must be detail orientated, have moderate computer skills and be able to handle conflict resolution.
Assistant Manager's Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for keeping the facility rented at optimum levels and effectively utilizing the Company’s marketing strategy. Actively sells retail items and maintains merchandise levels. Providing superior customer service including troubleshooting and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries. Must inspect the facility throughout the day to maintain a neat, clean, safe and secure environment and promptly correct any situation that the does not meet company standards. General office management including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day. Maintains all required documentation in a neat and orderly manner. The Manager must be able to control delinquencies by telephone and letters on a daily basis. Store teams must prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately and submit on a timely basis. Responsible for preparing auctions and cash controls. Effectively communicates with management, fellow employees and corporate office.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
