What You’ll Do:
- Rotate through each department and train with an industry professional
- Assist Directors in working on department goals
- Complete data entry in various software across each department
- Coordinate truck movement with other terminals
- Answer calls and assist drivers in various issues
- Participate in employee development activities and managerial trainings.
- Support with hiring initiatives including attending virtual or in-person career fairs
- Present research and ideas to help overall success of Total to upper management at conclusion of your program.
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Education
- Four-year college degree or work equivalent
- Expertise in the transportation industry a plus
Skills/Certifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical entries, financial reports, and legal documents. Respond to common inquiries or complaints. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, clients and the general public.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form with several abstract or concrete variables.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have an aptitude and a desire for a career in the trucking industry
