Key Responsibilities
- Veteran-Centered Service: Deliver daily essential services such as meals, hygiene supplies, and shelter with dignity and care.
- Customer Service Excellence: Support veterans with their needs, concerns, and transitions—including move-ins and move-outs—while maintaining a client-first approach.
- Conflict Resolution & De-escalation: Respond to and help prevent verbal and physical altercations; document incidents and report to site leadership promptly.
- Safety & Emergency Procedures: Implement and uphold all safety protocols, including bed checks, emergency response actions, and room inspections to ensure a clean and hazard-free facility.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and residential staff to maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment.
- Facility Upkeep: Assist with facility cleanliness, maintenance, inventory supply needs, and preparation for inspections.
- Routine Monitoring & Documentation: Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of services, safety checks, and client interactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with veterans, individuals in recovery, or similar populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and apply sound judgment.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, sober, and respectful environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Valid driver’s license preferred (company vehicle use may require additional training and insurance eligibility).
