Export Packer - 1st Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Responsible for the packaging process for the exporting of manufactured parts. This includes: Creating the packaging (boxes, etc.); Preparing the packaging for shipping, which includes marking the boxes for appropriate tracking information and placing labels or other identifying information to ensure proper logistics; maintaining attention to detail regarding product and shipping information; Remaining organized while working on multiple orders simultaneously; Occasionally packing parts by hand.
• Responsible for loading and unloading parts into magnetic sorting machine; Fix and troubleshoot feeder bowl for minor errors do to stuck parts. Completing PM's routine and other necessary paperwork associated with the sorting machine. Provide samples to QA as needed.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations. Detect faulty operation or defective materials and report these and other unusual conditions to supervisor or group leader. Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Be able to read and write English
• 2 – 5 years of manufacturing experience highly desired
