What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Selector- 1st & 2nd Shift position at U.S. Trading Company?
We’re looking for hardworking and dependable team members to help pick and build pallets with both good and no-good products for shipment. Please note that this position is fast-paced and involves heavy lifting throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and stack customer orders on pallets according to company standards.
- Safely operate a Class III Rider Jack or Electric Pallet Jack (training available for the right candidate).
- Transport completed pallets to the correct staging area.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques (bend at the knees, not the back).
- Assist with general cleaning and warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 1 year of experience operating a Rider Jack or Class III Forklift.
- Experience with order picking, palletizing, or voice picking systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move 50–100 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in Dry, Cooler, and Freezer environments.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Basic shipping and receiving knowledge are a plus and may lead to advancement opportunities.
- Open to management feedback and performance improvement discussions.
Schedule Options:
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, and Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
