Box Truck Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Class C Box Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a 26’ box truck to deliver goods to local customers, including restaurants and retail stores, across nearby cities (San Leandro, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, or Hayward).

This role requires physical work, including heavy lifting, loading/unloading freight, and use of hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (or until route is completed)

Pay: $24 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26,000 GVW box truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Deliver to local home improvement stores, restaurants, and retail customers.
• Complete 15–20 deliveries per day in all weather conditions.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Lift up to 75 lbs single-handedly and up to 300 lbs.
• Enter/exit vehicle frequently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck.
• Manage and record delivery invoices, handle product returns, and provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and store associates.
• Follow DOT and company safety guidelines at all times.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Previous box truck or delivery driving experience (1 years) required.
• Ability to handle a physical workload with frequent lifting and bending.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to complete a drug test and MVR check.
• Ability to use smartphone-based GPS and handheld delivery devices.
• Language: ENGLISH (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese is a plus)
