Job Description:
- Seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Design Engineer to support the design and development of semiconductor process equipment and control systems.
- This role focuses on electrical system design, PLC programming, power distribution, subsystem integration, and industrial automation within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical modules, control panels, and subsystems for semiconductor equipment.
- Own the full electrical design lifecycle including requirements, feasibility studies, schematic design, integration, prototype testing, and manufacturing release.
- Develop and support control systems, power distribution, system interlocks, and laser chiller controls.
- Perform electrical analysis including load, timing, and thermal evaluations.
- Create schematics and documentation using tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, and FPGA development platforms.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Software, Systems, and Manufacturing teams for subsystem and system integration.
- Support hands-on lab activities, troubleshooting, validation, and cleanroom testing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation and issue resolution.
Experience:
- 5 years of electrical design engineering experience.
- PLC programming expertise is required (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.).
- Strong experience in:
- Control system design
- Industrial automation
- Power distribution systems
- Electrical integration and troubleshooting
- Experience with Ladder Logic programming.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
