Job Description:
- The I&C Designer 3 position requires 7-10 years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job responsibilities include Producing design drawings, preparing layouts and conceptual designs.
- Providing engineering services and field support.
- Conducting preparation of designs and calculations.
- Conducting site walk downs of construction sites.
- Providing schedule and staffing input for projects, leading projects with oversight.
Qualifications:
- Skillsets and expertise required for this position include experience in a CAD platform or integrated design tool.
- Experience in instrument services and field support.
- Experience with pressure, flow, and temperature devices.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience developing instrument datasheets, installation details.
- Experience with site walk downs, experience working on P&IDs, DCS Wiring and loop sheets.
- Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
Note:
- PPE required for field/site visits: Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, Hard Hat, High Visibility Safety Vest, Ear Plugs.
- Travel may be required
- The assignment will primarily be remote with occasional trips to sites and/or the office. The amount of travel will be contingent upon the requirements of the project and are subject to change per project.
