SUMMARY
- Hourly Rate $19.92 - $20.54
- This position is responsible for maintaining and distributing equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, tools, chemicals and compiling stock and inventory records in the storeroom.
FUNCTIONS
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Knows and observes Plant Safety work procedures and rules, Environmental Practices and GMP guidelines.
- Examines daily stock count to verify accuracy to inventory and notifies the Storeroom Supervisor of inventory adjustments to be made in Peoplesoft.
- Stores articles/supplies in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as aisle, bin number and location of part number.
- Verifies daily stock received through actual count and forwards receipt to Storeroom Supervisor.
- Issues supplies from stock and records issue into Peoplesoft inventory management system according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepares cycle count of stock daily and report discrepancies to Storeroom Supervisor.
- Compiles report on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, and location changes.
- Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on items received.
- Identifies and locates parts and/or items needed by identifying part number or part name. Queries inventory system to identify correct part/item to issue or order.
- Identifies out of stock parts/items, records information, and forwards to Storeroom Supervisor.
- Records returned or unused items to the inventory system and credit account.
Responsible for the cleanliness/5S of the area assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Completes required Safety inspections.
- Provides Paid Time Off (PTO) relief for Receiving Clerk.
- Delivers/retrieves kitted parts as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses
The following are the basic qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
The following are the basic qualifications:
- Minimum of six months of inventory experience
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a forklift
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)

- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The associate is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and /or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
