Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-11 level, base salary of $59,319 (11 step 1), if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level performing duties such as:
- Coordinating administrative office functions such as human resources, finance and budget, procurement of office supplies and equipment, property and space management, inventory controls, and records management.
- Advising staff on administrative policies, practices and procedures.
- Developing various communications to include correspondence, memos, reports, and operating procedures.
- Utilizing a variety of office automated programs, applications, tools, and systems. OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR
A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience. This will be calculated using your résumé and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Responsibilities:
The selectee will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Office of Investigations. Typical work assignments include:
- Manages and coordinates various administrative areas such as office budgets and finances, human resources, acquisition/procurement, inventory and property management, travel arrangements.
- Establishes administrative procedures and internal controls for the office.
- Performs preliminary searches of and/or inputs data into computerized criminal databases; and coordinates a variety of matters related to protective visits and major investigative cases.
- Advises staff on new regulations, policies, practices and procedures which impact the administrative support functions associated with administrative, investigative or protective functions and consulting with internal and external sources.
