JOB DESCRIPTION
ENGAGEMENT ASSOCIATE
Reports to: Chief of Staff
Works closely with: VPs, Chief of Staff, Membership Director and CEO
Position Summary
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic and motivated Engagement Associate to support our team with membership engagement, marketing outreach, business development support, and event coordination. This role is ideal for a young professional who is highly organized, confident communicating with people, and excited to build networks and meaningful connections with members and stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position is $55,000, along with a highly competitive benefits package.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supports the development of engagement plans and calendars to maintain consistent communication with priority stakeholders and members.
· Develops and supports member engagement initiatives such as member spotlights, welcome/onboarding touchpoints, and relationship-building outreach.
· Creates marketing materials such as invitations, flyers, and simple promotional designs as needed.
· Supports business development activities by researching potential partners and assisting with outreach tracking and follow-ups.
· Identifies and proposes high-value engagement opportunities (introductions, meetings, roundtables) that strengthen the Council’s role as a connector between U.S. and Saudi stakeholders.
· Provides logistical and administrative support for Council meetings, delegations, and events, including guest lists, registrations, agendas, and event materials.
· Assists in collecting event highlights, photos, and key takeaways to support Council visibility and post-event follow-up communication.
· Contributes ideas to improve stakeholder experience and participation in meetings and events, including guest engagement, follow-ups, and networking support.
· Represents the Council professionally in meetings and events when required.
· Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, political science, communications, marketing, international relations, or a related field
· Strong interest in stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and professional networking
· Excellent communication skills (English required)
· Confident and professional when engaging with members and external stakeholders (able to engage with CEOs and senior government officials)
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
· Comfortable reaching out to people via email, phone, and messaging
· Positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative
PREFERRED (NICE TO HAVE)
· Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
· Basic understanding of CRM tools, membership databases, or contact tracking systems
· Prior internship or experience in client engagement, outreach, events, marketing, or business support
· Strong understanding of international issues, with a basic understanding of Saudi business or culture
