Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, including gathering stats, initiating treatment, monitoring patients, terminating treatment, and collecting blood samples
- Preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control
- Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse to ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
- Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
