Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Construction Estimator, located in Honolulu, HI. The Senior Construction Estimator will develop project cost estimates, conduct quantity take-offs, prepare budgets, and monitor cost data. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accuracy and success in construction project planning and execution. The position also requires effective communication to present project details and estimates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
- Strong proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and comprehensive estimates
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools
- Experience in the Hawaii construction market is a plus
- Relevant certification or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Has 5 years of experience in Hawaiian market
- Valid Hawaii Contractor's license
- Experience using Autodesk, SAGE, RSMeans, and Building connected is a plus
