What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Technician position at U.S. Oral Surgery Management?
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a Sterilization Technician to support our surgical team and help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the surgeon to maintain a safe operating environment, ensure equipment functions properly, and support the effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. This position offers hands-on experience, growth, and the opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-paced clinical team.
Responsibilities:

Check and prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment needed for surgical procedures

Maintain the highest standards of sterile technique and monitor the sterile field

Pass instruments and support the surgeon during procedures

Ensure equipment is functioning and the operating area remains safe and efficient
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience supporting surgical procedures; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery experience is a plus

Proven track record of professional growth

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and understand operative procedures

Commitment to quality patient care and maintaining sterile conditions
