Job Summary:


The US Navy's Advanced Electronics/Computer Field provides training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control technology.



Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment

  • Operate mainframe computers

  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical components within weapons systems

    • The work environment includes shipboard duty on aircraft carriers.
    The following education opportunities will be provided: Navy College Program , Tuition Assistance , Post-9/11 GI Bill ( American Council on Education - Industry certifications through Navy COOL Department of Labor apprenticeships via USMAP).
